Extensions
A stay at any Bushtops destination can become twice as wonderful, either by visiting more than one of our camps or by extending your holiday into a complementary adventure. Here are some of our favourites.
Tanzania
Zanzibar
The thrill of a stay in either of our Tanzanian camps or Mara Bushtops is perfectly complemented by a spell on Zanzibar, perhaps in or near the capital, Stone Town. This captivating island accessible via direct flight from the Serengeti or Nairobi Wilson airport is an idyllic tropical haven, combining a rich spice-scented culture with sandy white beaches, fringed by clear, warm azure waters.
Kenya
Diani Beach
Perfect for Kenya is a twinned safari and beach holiday. Diani Beach on the Kenyan coast can be reached via a direct flight from Mara Bushtops. We recommend blissing out at Alfajiri Villas, arguably the most spectacular luxury destination on the Kenya coast.
Rwanda
Gorilla trek
Visit the mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. Convenient access either from Nairobi or directly from the Serengeti to Kigali makes this easy to plan and we cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Meeting a gorilla face to face in the wild is literally indescribable.
