As you touch down in the Serengeti, one of life’s greatest adventures is about to begin – and you are in good hands. The Camp is magically situated, but the fact that we are in the heart of the action means wildlife can be, literally, on your doorstep! Our location is entirely unfenced, so animals are free to wander in, past or through the camp.
Here is an example of what a four-day itinerary might involve.
Roving Itinerary
Day 1
As soon as you land at the airstrip your ranger and spotter will be there, ready with smiles, helpful hands and your luxury 4×4 safari vehicle. Here you will be welcomed with a drink and snacks, whilst your luggage is safely stowed.
Your drive to the camp is a mini game drive in itself, taking you through the Bush en route to Roving Bushtops. Between midday and 4pm we encourage you to explore your new surroundings, have a delectable lunch – and relax.
Then, as the day cools and the sky is streaked by red, gold and orange hues, we take you out for an evening game drive. You may be surprised by the roar of a lion, a galloping giraffe, or the high-pitched giggling of hyenas fighting over a kill. Whatever happens, it will be so very different from anything you have experienced before. At a suitable vantage point, your guide will pause, allowing you to enjoy a sundowner in blissful comfort, counting your blessings as the sun sinks below the horizon.

Day 2
Full day safaris are the best way to see what our magnificent park has to offer. Every day is an unwritten drama, featuring anything from a kill to an amorous liaison. You may spot some or all of the big five; you’re bound to meet a fascinating cast of lesser-known creatures. Whatever storylines the day holds, our team of rangers and Kuria spotters will apply their wildlife knowledge, tracking abilities and incredible eyesight to reveal the hidden wonders of the Serengeti.
Early mornings on the Serengeti are relatively cool, but by midday it can become very hot indeed and sun-block lotion and hats are advised. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree: as you take a break from scanning the horizons, you can truly connect with nature and people around you.
We bring you back to camp around 4pm, ready for a soothing soak in your hot tub, a complimentary massage, or both!

Day 3
On your third day we suggest you might rise early, so we can unveil the secrets of the Serengeti at dawn.
Our open vehicles bring you as close as possible to the wildlife, just when the action is likely to be at its most exciting. Few predators hunt during the heat of the day, so early morning is the best time to observe the thrill of the chase.
Then, after a short break to enjoy breakfast in the Bush, further viewing leads you back to camp just before midday, in good time for lunch.
We then give you from midday to 5pm to catch up on leisure and rest before heading back out for an evening game drive and a private sundowner in the wilderness.
This short foray lasts around two hours, before you head back to camp for a relaxed evening of good food, wine and conversation.

Day 4
Day four sees you come to the end of your safari with us. Having reconnected with what really matters (the glories of the world around you, time to sit and stare, delightful human company), one last natural wonder is left – the drive to the airstrip. It’s amazing how often the transfer to your plane results in a last, heart-stopping highlight. And then it’s farewell – for now.
