The teachers and pupils at Bisalalah School are always happy to see us, proudly showing off facilities that Serengeti Bushtops and our guests have helped to create. Tours led by the headmaster or a teacher are informative, memorable and often inspirational, as our guests meet Tanzania’s next generation.
School Visit
Education: the greatest gift
Giving something back has always been fundamental to Bushtops, so when we established our first camp in Tanzania, we asked if (and how) we could help our local school. The result is a relationship with Bisalalah School which sees us support the education of local children, opening up new opportunities as we support communities who were there long before us.
Some of our guests donate to a project or sponsor a child’s education, both of which are hugely appreciated. However, no one is ever pressured to contribute. Simply by visiting Serengeti Bushtops and being part of the Bushtops family, you make a positive difference to the future of the School, its children and the local community.
