A full day’s game viewing
A full day on safari gives you the best chance of unforgettable moments, ranging from a kill to an amorous liaison, spotting the big five or encountering a fascinating cast of lesser-known creatures. Each excursion departs at around 7am after a pre-breakfast snack, with your 4×4 setting out to discover the day’s unique dramas, unfolding across the plains.
The early mornings are relatively cool, but by midday it can become very hot indeed, making sun-block lotion and hats highly advisable. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree as you take a break from scanning the horizons. This is where you gaze about you and realise that – for now – all is well with the world.
Our team of rangers and Kuria spotters apply their wildlife knowledge, tracking abilities and incredible eyesight to reveal the hidden wonders of the Serengeti: even we don’t know how they do it!
After a full day exploring the Serengeti, you return around (usually just after 4pm) for a soothing soak in your hot tub, a complimentary massage, a drink, a bite to eat, a snooze, or a combination of all!
